I was asked if I had any suitable prayers for the offertory or collection during a service - so here's my offering!

For the blessings of this and all our days, we thank you, gracious God. Accept, we pray, not just this money but also our lives freely offered in gratitude for all you have done for us. Use them both, in this place and wherever you might take us. Amen.

All things have their origin with you, Lord, and from these riches we freely give, that your church might grow in this place and throughout the world. Amen.

Gracious God, use this money and all that we have for the building up of your work in this church and the wider world, for your glory. Amen.

All good gifts come from you, dear Lord, and from these riches we bring this offering. Help us to use it for the furtherance of your purpose in this place, and for the benefit of those in need. Amen.

Help us to be generous givers, dear Lord, both of our money and our lives, that we might make a difference in this town. We ask this through your son, our Saviour Jesus Christ who gave all that he was that we might know life in all its fullness. Amen.

We bring you only what is yours, Creator God, that you might use this offering and the giver for the building up of your kingdom and the glory of your name. Amen.
