This series of studies on the stages of life takes us through early childhood to more ‘senior’ years and looks at what the Bible has to say about growing up, in years and height.
I have tried to make it as inclusive as I can, bearing in mind that there are many situations within which children grow up and develop.
When using the word ‘parent’, I fully acknowledge that ‘guardian’, ‘carer’ or other descriptive words might be appropriate. My intention is best defined by the Miriam-Webster definition of a parent as ‘a person who brings up and cares for another’.
This is not an in-depth examination of the theme, but by design more reflective, as we all no doubt have our own views, based upon personal experience, on the highs, lows, joys, and sorrows that we have discovered along this journey of a lifetime.
This Bible study looks at both Old and New Testaments to get a bigger picture of what Pentecost can mean to us.
The study is formatted such that each individual study can be printed off on 2 double-sided sheets of A4 for distribution to a group, or distributed by email, and read on phones or tablets. If you're using it with more than one group, it would be appreciated if you could consider purchasing one study per group!
The four studies have all you need for a small group discussion, with useful images, plenty of commentary, discussion questions and prayer suggestions.
1) Childhood
2) Adolescence
3) The Middle Years
4) The Senior Years
